Toddlers like to know what is going to happen and what is expected of them, so we make sure that they know and understand their routine and enjoy their time with us. It’s a magical age, with development often being very rapid indeed. Walking, running jumping and climbing are all supported by our specially selected toys and equipment that your toddler them start to explore the big wide world in complete safety.
Activities Galore – Keeping Your Children Happy and Busy
While there’s loads to do in our toddlers room, we still love to take your little ones on outings to start to introduce them to the local area. As with everything we do, we combine education with fun – so expect trips to the aquarium and forest parks – all fully supervised and risk assessed, of course.
We also like to invite special guests into the nursery. Your little one can expect visits from some furry farm animal friends, reptiles, and singing and dancing sessions provided by Jo Jingles.
When your child is ready, we’ll work with you to encourage potty and toilet training – until then, we’ll use the nappies, wipes and any creams you provide to keep your little explorer clean and comfortable.
Feedback and Development
Every day, your child’s activities will be logged on our Nursery Pal app. That means you can see at a glance what they’ve been up to – what they’ve had to eat, how long they’ve spent asleep, and what adventures and activities they’ve been enjoying. If you’d rather, you can receive the same information on a sheet of paper at the end of the day instead – whatever works best for you.
We know that you’ll be keen to keep track of how your little one is developing, so we’ll give you a full written report once a year, and we’ll meet with you every three months to talk you through their progress folder. If there’s anything you want to know about your child’s time with us outside of those opportunities, we’re always happy to arrange a meeting to share what they’ve been up to and how they are coming along.
