Learn what goes into a healthy lunchbox, and why it’s important to pay attention to what we eat. The Snuggleschildren love to get involved with our week-long healthy eating workshop, as we learn what’s good for us andwhat isn’t together.
We explore ways we can adjust our lives on order to cope in an era of overwhelm, a time when too many people’s mental wellbeing is being stretched through multi-tasking, and information overload. We look at sleep time, physical time, focus time, time in, downtime, playtime and connecting time.
We would like you and you little ones to think of an aim (or a list of actions) before the workshop, for example: recycling more paper; switching lights and computers off; thinking of more sustainable ways to come to and from school; waste and recycling; biodiversity; energy and sustainable transport.
We encourage parents to find ways to make their home a safe place, with tips such as tying up blind cords, storing dangerous household products, sharp corners on tables, window locks to name a few
